  • The hand-held unit of VQ2000 rechargeable battery won't charge

    • Leave the charger plug plugged in for about one hour (the hand-held unit must be switched off) and then switch the hand-held unit on. If the green charge-status LED is lit, the rechargeable battery is being charged correctly. If not, there is a major defect.

  • The display shows the error message "Sensor Error"

    • Check the examination settings.
      • The correct examination must be set in the "Application" box.
      • The correct sensor must be set in the "Sensor Type" box.
    • Are the sensors correctly connected?
      • The D-PPG sensor is connected to the right-hand socket.
      • The A-PPG sensor is connected to the left-hand socket.
      • The connection adapter retention clamps must latch in completely.
    • Is the sensor correctly applied?
      • The optical test lens must be applied to the skin.
      • The sensor head must be completely fixated by the adhesive ring; do not let any light get in.
  • "Printer Inactive" appears in the display

    • Check the wiring.
      • The hand-held unit and the printer must be connected with the printer cable!
    • Is the printer switched on?
    • Do the printer status lights indicate a malfunction?
      • Please refer to the printer manual additional information.
  • Printer does not print / paper jam

    • Does the ink tank flash red? Replace the ink tank; it is probably empty.
    • Is the "Paper Feed" button flashing? Paper jam
      • Remove the paper; watch out for remnants in the paper feed.
      • Correctly insert the paper.
  • Printer prints random characters

    An incorrect printer has probably been selected
    • Switch the VQ2000 hand-held unit on with the F1-key pressed.
    • Choose the following settings with the cursor keys
      • General (Column 1)
      • Printer (Column 2)
      • Printer type (Column 3)
        Select your printer.
    • Switch on the unit. The settings are automatically saved.
  • Canon BJ30 printer

    • The print head is defective (error message F12 in the printer display).
      • Please replace the print head.
    • Paper jam (error message E2 in the printer display).
      • Remove the paper; watch out for remnants in the paper feed.
      • Correctly insert the paper.
