    Please be sure to put a description of the error in the package.

    If desired, we will send you a cost estimate. Also please be sure to include your fax number or e-mail address so that we can send you the cost estimate.

  • Is a service technician available in our area?

    Please discuss your service problems with our Service Department. We organise servicing through ELCAT; if you need service please contact our Service Department directly.

  • Can the units be repaired onsite?

    We need extensive measurement and test equipment to make repairs, so normally repairs can only be carried out in our company.

    Local module replacement is only possible after the cost estimate has been confirmed.

  • How do I need to pack the units?

    Please pack the units carefully!

    Special packing is available from ELCAT at extra cost on request.

  • Is loan equipment provided?

    Loan equipment is available for some products.

  • Are replacement units available?

    You can swap your defective unit for a rebuilt replacement unit for a flat-rate repair charge.

    Please clarify with the Service Department to determine if we can offer a replacement unit.

  • Can defective units be picked up?

    We can have your unit picked up from your address for a surcharge. To do that, your unit has to be packed ready for shipment.

  • Does ELCAT provide a remote maintenance?

    Some products can be analyzed remotely. An internet connection is required.
    In the case of service, please contact our Service Department.
  • How does remote maintenance work?

    ELCAT performs the remote maintenance with Teamviewer software. That allows us to connect directly to your computer and perform the service remotely. You can download the Teamviewer client free of charge.

  • Does ELCAT accept old units as payment?

    We accept old ELCAT and Kranzbühler units (even when defective) as payment.
